The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an initiative promoted by the United Nations. On September 25, 2015, world leaders adopted a set of global goals to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda.
GeneticAI contributes to the following goals:
SDG 1: HUNGER ZERO
Eradicating poverty is not a task of charity, it is an act of justice and the key to unlocking an enormous human potential. Still, nearly half of the world’s population lives in poverty, and lack of food and clean water is killing thousands every single day of the year. Together, we can feed the hungry, wipe out disease and give everyone in the world a chance to prosper and live a productive and rich life.

SDG 5: GENDER EQUALITY
Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
GeneticAI promotes the Effective Equality of Opportunities between men and women, inside and outside the company. Among the actions that have been carried out since our foundation are:
- Pay equality for equal value works, breaking the glass ceiling to stablish guarantees that give women and men the same opportunities to participate in internal promotion and training.
- Reconciliation measures that allow employees to achieve a greater balance in meeting the needs derived from work, family and personal responsibilities.
In our responsible management plan 2020-2021 we seek:
- Diversity incorporation as a value: Fostering diversity in the company, ensuring in the first place a balanced staff on the basis of sex; in addition, incorporating other diversity factors: age, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or option, etc.
SDG 6: CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION
Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
GeneticAI develops and markets IoT solutions for the correct management of water resources and their quality.
SDG 8: DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
GeneticAI promotes the development of projects and initiatives in the field of effective training and education, having several agreements with Universities and Training Academies.
SDG 9: INDUSTRY INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
GeneticAI dedicates more than 30% of its budget to innovation, launching several innovative projects in the fields of health and precision agriculture.
From the beginning, we have the stamp of innovative SMEs and three of our projects have been awarded and financed through funds from the European program H2020 for activities and innovation.
SDG 13: CLIMATE ACTION
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
All the actions promoted by GeneticAI are respectful with the environment and oriented to fight the advances of climate change effects. We maintain a firm commitment to the circular economy. Our IoT solutions seek to reduce electrical consumption.
SDG 14: LIFE BELOW WATER
Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.
GeneticAI develops and trades IoT solutions for the correct management of water resources and their quality. Our precision agriculture solutions reduce the massive use of fertilizers and anti-pests, improving the aquifers conditions, resulting in the health of rivers and therefore, the seas.
